I sold 8 souls yesterday for $50 bucks and a vacation

And I'm ashamed!!

Melissa and I are in Nashville, TN, at mom and dad's fairfield plan thingy.  So, when we got here on Wednesday they asked us if we wanted to do a survey the next day.  Well, I knew what this was (sales pitch) and all, but it would help with dad's maintanance fees and also we would get 50 bucks out of it.  So, I can waste an hour of my time for this.  So, I said yes.

So, Melissa and I went to the "survey" yesterday and, well, it wasn't worth the 50 dollars at all.  This woman was a real intense high pressure sales person and I wanted to kill myself in the middle of it.  I told her several times that I have no use for it 'cause I can just use dad's point and what not and he has more then enough for everyone in the family.  But Melissa made the mistake of coming with me and she kept on grilling her and Melissa was just trying to be nice.  The woman even asked if we were interested when we got married.  I was like, "Well, that's not happening 'cause I'm gay and she's not really my type."  *laughs*.  The woman just stopped and she started stammering like, "ohhh..ohhh..well, that's ok."  Well, I wasn't really looking for your approval, but whatever.  So, in order to get the 50 bucks and to help dad with his maintance fees, I had to refer 8 people to them.  And, it didn't seem that we were gonna leave without giving them 8 names.  So, I just pulled out my cell phone and started refering people that would never ever do it (Brandi *laughs*, my aunt Jen and aunt Joan, my brother and sister-in-law (that uses my dad's points).  It was amusing, to say the least :)  So, I had to call my brother, sister-in-law, and my aunts yesterday to tell them that I sold their souls for $50 dollars.  I was impressed, I would have been irritated, but they all just laughed at me and said that it was alright.  So, I'm glad that I'm in the clear on that one.

Yesterday Melissa and I went to the Frist Museum of Visual Arts, which was pretty nice.  They had an egyptian exhibt that was pretty sweet and they *also* had this photography exhibit that had the Pultzer Prize winning photographs throughout the years.  That was my favorite part, and I thought that I would hate it.  The photos were so moving and what not.  Like this woman that had her child swept away by the tide.  The look of her face as she was running to her husband for comfort was...wow.

Today we're prolly gonna see President Jackson's home and then eat downtown.  We'll also prolly going to a gay bar tonight and booze it up!!  Can't have a vacation sober I say!

But, I must leave you early.  I'm at the activity center 'cause they don't have high speed throughout the condo and my modem hates me so I can't do dialup at the room.  Bastard Acer!!!  BASTARDS!!!!!!
