Would You Like Some Cable With That? Why, Thank You Pease!

Why, it's almost 11:30 at night and, hot damn, i'm on the internet.  *does the happy monkey dance*  I was at work for a bit today and decided that, since there was nothing going on at work, I would run over back home to see if the cable was installed.  And, the "Stop Ahead" sign was back up and I saw a cable kind of draped over it...I did a wee jig in my car, it was kinda scary, I know.  Sad, if you really think about it...hehe.  But, the god's punishment has officially ended, until next time, of course.  Now they just need to bury the cable into the yard...would be a bitch for us to run the lawnmower around the line.  And, by we, I mean Mike *ahem*.

I finished the "Vice Acadamy" trilogy this evening, it was freaking sweet.   The first one was totally the best though.  I mean, how sweet is it to have a character to be named "Cherrypop" and she's trying to get out of the porno gig and start up her new workout VHS tape, "Boning Up With Cherrypop."  *laughs*  If you love campy movies that, if shown on cable, you would think that it was an edited porno, you must watch it.  I gave the first two to my sis-in-law, Jess, to watch while she's on bedrest for the next two weeks.  I'll drop the third off to her tomorrow.  Hopefully she can stay sane to get to the third one.

Today I met up with Chris at Edward Jones and started up my Roth IRA account with them.  Hopefully I'll be able to have over a million bucks by the time that I retire so that I won't have to worry about money when I'm older and eating kitty food...

Of course, that's if I live that long *ahem*

I met with my ex-boss Dian and her co-worker Joanie for lunch at Bella's.  We had a really good time catching up, I do like meeting up with them every now and again.   Plus it's always good to hear juicy gossip from the ol' salt mine...

I spoke to dad a couple of hours ago.  It looks like the proposals that I ran for my aunt Joan and uncle Brad were very well received for their auto and home and they signed the paperwork and everything.  They even took pics of the house themselves and emailed it over to me tonight, super sweet.  So I'm picking up the paperwork tomorrow from dad before heading into work and sending everything over to the group to get the policies processed.

Hrrmm, I really don't have anything else to gossip about...I guess today was all about running around and basically doing errands.  Well, that and getting the internet/cable hooked back up.  That, surely, was the most important thing that's happened to me all week.  Amen.

And how's it feel to actually have one of the family insured...We almost had that market cornered!! HAHAHAHA. In fact, we had quited Brad and Joan before....let me guess, Travis didn't want to do the work? :)
