Communism, Strangely Enough, Isn’t As Tasty As I Originally Thought

This evening for supper we were at Pleasure Island and we came by this Cuban restaurant.  We figured that we never had it and it would be a good experience.

However, I forgot to factor in my Pond luck this week.  Well, everyone else liked it.  I found things that, even while some exist in nature, are abominations and experiments gone wrong created by God.

Mike had this Pineapple soda.  Excuse me, I’m from the North, it’s pop.  Pineapple pop.  I looked at it as it fizzed in his glass and I started to get a lil’ nauseous.  That and it had more sugar then Mountain Dew.  Essentially drink it and you can go into a diabetic coma.  Fun.

We all had these…potato/banana concoctions that were just…vile.  Talk about two things that should never mixed together.  And they were mixed together by God no less.  Apparently he was high that day; he just didn’t know what he was doing.  I can’t even remember what they were called.  They are a starch plant that’s in the banana family.  They look like a banana but are more white.  You take a bite and it was this burst of potato and banana flavor in your mouth.  Either cooked or deep fried.  It was…vile.  I almost spit out the piece that was in my mouth.  Mike, mom, and dad apparently loved it.  I didn’t say that they knew exactly what they were doing.  It’s an abomination I tell you.  Forget homosexuality or cross dressing.  That’s the one thing that God didn’t mean to happen and, I’m sure, doesn’t condone.

However my Sweet & Sour Chicken was yummy.  Sure, it was the only thing on my plate that probably didn’t come from Cuba, but it was the only thing that I enjoyed.

They even managed to fuck up rice.  They again created an abomination and they put this nasty ass spices in it and, I do believe, they put seaweed in with it.  I didn’t even know that you could screw up rice.  However, they managed to do it.  Apparently your mind goes when you smoke too many Cuban cigars.

And your tongue.
