Fun Fun Couple of Days

So the past couple of days have been interesting...

Dad was admitted into the ICU Monday.  He went in for a checkup for his pneumonia (he's had it for the past week or so) and they did a CAT scan on him to make sure it was nothing more then that.  Well, they did the CAT scan and it showed not one, but many very small clots in his lungs.  So he was taken over to the hospital and put into ICU.  His heartbeat was also irregular but, after many many tests, all of the doctors (not one, mind you...four different ones) agreed that it's due to the low amount of oxygen in his blood due to the clots and also the pneumonia.  So, he's been taken out of ICU now and he'll be in the hospital for about a week.  Which is causing mom problems 'cause she's now having to take over some of the bill payments *chuckles*.  She called me and I had to walk her through on paying her Discover Credit Card bill online.  It's the little things that amuse me :)

We made reservations for the hotel and the comedy club the other day.  We were going to go to the Cloak and Dagger Mystery Dinner Theater, but they weren't doing a show on Saturday.  Damn.  But, the comedy club should be a damned good place to hang out on Saturday.  We should hopefully have a good time...especially if Mike decides to give me sex, bastard!

I got this Friday off, and Monday and Tuesday the office is closed for the Fourth of July...so, I have myself a 5 day weekend!  WOOHOO!!  I knew there was a reason that people fought for our independence...never knew what it was until now though....

The claim situation has calmed down quite a bit.  More then half of them are settled by the companies...which, i'm very much impressed, considering it's been only a week and they were assaulted with claims.  So, needless to say, I'm pretty impressed with our companies.

Anyways, it's only almost 11pm, but i'm so freaking tired...need....sleep....

Just a Quick Update

So, a couple things have happened the past couple of days worth note, but nothing super lovely.

Our area had a huge ass wind storm/tornado this past Thursday.  Talk about super sucky.  We were expecting a couple of claims, nothing huge or anything.  A hundred or so claims later, we realized that we were mistaken.  So, Thursday and Friday was a fuck fest, just basically getting the basic info and throwing it at the companies, hoping that they will start to sort it out soon enough.  Things look like they are moving rather quickly, especially with so many claims, so I'm happy with that.

Mellisa, Mike, and myself decided to take a small holiday this weekend 'cause of our 4 day weekend thanks to July 4th falling on a Tuesday.  We haven't quite decided on where we were going...but I think that we're gonna stay in the same basic region, the farthest idea being Chicago.  But, I think that we'll probably end up going to Columbus for a couple of nights.  I was looking on the internet and they have this Cloak and Dagger Mystery Dinner Theater in Columbus that looks pretty sweet.  I'll have to talk Melissa tomorrow to see if she wants to go to Columbus and go to that and maybe go down to see Nikki while we're down that way to visit her and also to give her the birthday present that we still haven't had the oppertunity to give her.

This past Sunday was Brandi's house warming/graduation party that was held at her apartment.  Nothing super special or anything, just a couple of family members sitting around, eating cake, and talking.  Even though her creepy older neighber gave her this *huge ass* stuffed Santa bear.  Mind you that it's June...and that the bear was filthy and smelled.  Mom and dad thinks that the guy is sweet and nice...I think he's Uncle Lester the Child Molester.  He's weird in a "I'll touch you in your bad spots and offer you candy afterwords" sort of way.  *shudders*  Good thing he isn't my neigher, that's for sure :p  I mean, my neighbors are so much better...drug dealers, trailer trash, and a crazy lesbian that can't keep her life straight or the drama down to a minimum.  Sweet.

I met this gay couple online the other night, they live in Dayton.  I was talking with them for quite a bit, was impressed that they didn't bring up sex or anything the entire time...we just chit chatted about everything and anything.  I told them that Mike and I would meet them for supper sometime and maybe going out for some dancing...should be a lot of fun, as Mike and I don't really have that many couple friends, save my brother and sister-in-law...and you don't really count family, right?  I mean, who do you cry to when your family pisses you off or, in my case, makes me scratch my head in wonder and disbelief.  Well, ok, I do that with my sister-in-law.  But, who do i talk with when she's being a crazy bitch?  No one I say!  :)

It's Just So Big

So, the other day I went outside to get the mail at work and, when coming inside, I saw this huge dragonfly. Like, prehistoric size. It was caught in this spider's web by the front door. I decided to take a picture of it to show everyone I'm not crazy. So, here they are.

Not much happened today. We were still pretty busy today...seems to be the norm now a'days apparently. But, busy in a good way, we're writing a lot of new accounts to the agency. Yea money. *smiles*

Zoie decided that it would be a good day to poop in the orange room. When she first did it (yes, I said first), Mike was in the kitchen doing the dishes after supper. And, I know how much he freaks out over dog poop in the house. So, I did my best to clean it up and discard it before he was aware of it. And *THEN*, prolly just a lil' over an hour later, I hear Mike yelling from the orange room and I went in there and, lord have mercy on my soul, she shit again there. And, Mike ended up *not only* wheeling the computer chair through it, but also stepping in it at the same time. Needless to say, drama. I know that Mike had some horriable childhood memories of dog shit in the house, so what I did first was kinda shield Zoie from Mike while at the same time scolding her and assuring him that I would clean up the mess, etc etc. So, he stomped off outside to water his flowers...even though it was gonna start raining any second. I assume that he didn't go out there to just water the flowers. So, needless to say, I had the job of cleaning the shit out of the computer rollers (fyi, super difficult and not very appealing) and the carpet. So, I then took Zoie outside (for what? yea, I dunno, it just seemed the thing to do...) and, when I got back inside, I kinda locked Mike outside out of pure training. So, after a couple of minutes, I heard Mike pounding on the door...probably cursing me under his breath. *muses*. So, I let him in...and, pretty much right after that, he went to bed without saying a word to me except "I'm appolozing in advance, if she ever does that again, I'll fuck her up and really hurt her." Yea, whatever...he knows that if he injures that dog he'll have me to rumble with :p. I can bitch slap with the best of them *muses*.

Well, I got back confirmation from Capital One saying that they accepted my loan application but with a 9.9% interest rate...far above the 6.9% interest that they were baiting me with. And, really, with that high of an interest rate, I'd rather just stick with the loan from Grange that I currently have, might as well. So, I think I'll just shred the check that they gave me. I haven't completly decided upon that course of action though...will have to think on it.

Brokeback Mountain

So, I just got done watching Brokeback mountain.  I bought it for Mike as part of his bday gift a couple of months ago.  However, I never got around to watching it because, well, cowboy movies aren't a real big thing for me.  But, I had a lot of time to kill today since Mike is over at his dad's for father's day and I'm here all alone.  And, I had to say that the movie was very powerful for me, I feel stupid for waiting so long to watch it.  It's just, the last 30 minutes of the movie showed that this life is fleeting and that, when we find that special person, forget about everything else that stands in your way and any social ramifications that my pain you along the way.  Because, when you find "the one," your soul mate...to throw that away just to make your life easier is the worst prison.  And I guess it shows you how one decision can alter your life so drastrically.  *shakes head*.  I've been sitting here for the past couple of minutes, trying to verbalize my emotions right now...and I'm finding it very hard to do.  I guess it's one of those emotional states that you can't really verbalize, and the only people that really get that emotion is yourself and "the one."  But, needless to say, the movie was a huge success...most movies don't make me ponder my choices like this one has.....

Bush In Hell

I found this on www.ladybunny.net and thought it was pretty funny, so I'm coping and pasting it on my blog.

George Bush has a heart attack and dies. Obviously, he goes to hell
where the devil is waiting for him.
The devil tells him "Sorry, but we have no room for you. As you definitely have to stay here, I'm going
to have to let some-one else go. I've got three folks here who
weren't quite as bad as you. I'll let one of them go, but you have
to take their place. I'll even let you decide who leaves."

George thought that sounded pretty good, so he agreed.

The devil opened the first room. In it were Richard Nixon and a
large pool of hot water. He kept diving in and climbing out, over
and over. Such was his fate in hell.

"No!" George said. "I don't think so. I'm not a good swimmer and
don't think I could stay in hot water all day."

The devil led him to the next room. In It was Tony Blair with a
sledge hammer and a room full of rocks.
All he did was swing the hammer, time after time.

"No!" I've got this problem with my shoulder. I would be in constant
agony if all I could do was break rocks all day" commented George.

The devil opened a third door. In it, George saw Bill Clinton lying
on the floor with his arms staked
over his head and his legs staked in a spread-eagle pose. Bent over
him was Monica Lewinsky,
doing what she does best.

George Bush looked at this in disbelief for a while and finally
said, "Yeah, I can handle this."

The devil smiled and said, "Ok, Monica, you're free to go!

Yes, I'd Like A Doorprize At *MY* Gay Orgy...Thank You!

So anyways, I'm back again, I forgot a lil' funny tidbit.  I got this email invite to this local gay orgy that happens once a month.  I've never went, just find it hot to think about.  But, anyways, it stated that this time around there was gonna be a doorprize at the orgy.  I mean, seriously...a gay orgy having a doorprize?  Does anyone else find this slightly odd and humerous?!  I'm really half tempted to go, just to see what the doorprize is...

Maybe I'll have to "work" extra late on Friday....

Mmmmm...Look at Me, I'm a Bank Robber....

So anyways, I was in a neighboring town in Indiana (we live right next to the Ohio/Indiana border) taking pictures of this house for their homeowner insurance.  And, so the house happens to be next to this bank.  So, I was taking pictures of the front of the house and was making my way to the back of this house when this old guy stopped me and asked me what I was doing.  I thought it was an odd question and told him that I was taking pictures of the house for the people that just purchased it.  He seemed somewhat relieved and asked if I was an appraiser, I corrected him and told him I was the person's insurance agent.  He chuckled and said that, since my car had out of state plates (mind you, I'm 10 minutes away from this place...duh, they should be quite comfortable with OH license plates), parked at a bank, and was taking pictures, "you can never be too careful."  Now, I kinda laughed and shrugged it off, not really understanding what he meant.  So, after taking the pictures of the back of the house and got into my car I realized what he meant...he suspected that I was a bank robber casing the joint.  I mean, seriously...do you think I'm really that fucking stupid that, if I was casing the joint, do you think that I would be that obvious?  I would either be using a camera phone or be far away from the bank using a camera with a telephoto lens.  I mean, really...old people seem to have way too much time on their hands to think of such things.  And, even if I was taking pictures of the bank, I'm allowed to, aren't I?  Not that they can prove my intentions...maybe I just admired the construction of it?

If I had realized what his acusations were before I got into my car, I would have pointed out his flaws in his logic and made him feel stupid.  But, instead, I'm pointing it out to the rest of the world.

Disgusted...

So, rarely are there things that I read on the internet that makes me shiver with disgust.  I found one of them today.

I was on the internet and happened on a website with porn stories.  And, I was reading through one and it had this guy that had crabs and was scratching himself and delighted in picking them off of his skin and eating them.

I promptly closed out of the window and tried not to throw up.

I've read stuff on piss, scat, blood..you name it, i've read it.  I may not have "enjoyed" a bulk of it, but I never shivered.  However, that about made me lose my lunch.  Well, that and snot.  That's just seriously too nasty.

So..anyways, I'm glad that I could make all of you cry out in pain and wish for a speedy death *smiles*

Stalker Update *laughs*

So, I got messaged by my stalker again today *duh duh duh duuuuuhhhhhh*

Ok, so he's really not my stalker.  Just a guy that likes to keep anonymous and knows a lot about me through my family (which apparently he knows a lot about me, yet not related to me).  So, I finially found out his real name yesterday, he sent it to me via email.  So, at least I know who I'm talking with.  However, it won't be posted on here, as he does want to be very discreet since he is married, and I respect that.   But, he is really nice, to say the least, I do enjoy talking to him.

So, nothing really crazy has happened in the past couple of days.  I realized that we may have to put off visiting Nikki until next weekend, not this coming weekend, due to Mike's father's birthday/fathers day.  Apparently, since his father's birthday and father's day is so close, the combine it into this one huge shingding.  Like, everyone and their brother comes, it's this huge bid deal.  Like, Christmas Huge.  So, needless to say, Mike can't skip out on it and I would look like a bastard if I would miss it to go somewhere else.  *sighs*.  I really don't enjoy going over there, quite honestly.  It's like I never fit in.  I've been over there many a times but I can never fit myself into the conversations at all.  I mean, if people would talk about things like world events or even stuff in general, I could get myself in.  However, they always seem to talk about people I have no idea who they are or the local trucking industry (his family, most of them, is in the trucking business, one way or the other).  And, since I have no grasp on the local people or trucking industry, I really have nothing to draw on except to sit there, look pretty, and occasionally laugh *sighs*.  I hate going over there, I feel so fucking out of place.  And, to boot, it's a two hour drive one way...so, basically we shoot 6-7 hours on going there.  *blah*.  But, what's a boy to do?

So, anyways, I also noticed that my blog has been getting roughly 30some hits a day by people reading it.  i'm shocked, to say the least...wow.

mmmm, I don't think there's anything else that I can really recall that's happened in the past couple of days that's worth noting.  I see now that I'm truely boring :(
