Mortgaging My Soul, Once Again

So, all day today I’ve been feeling apprehensive.  I thought it was from me not wanting to be at work today and wanting to go on vacation.  But, after I get home from work and start packing/getting everything ready/etc etc etc, I still feel it…even a bit stronger then earlier today.  I’m begining to think that it has to do with the trip, even though i’m feeling excited about getting away for a wee bit.  I just hope that everything works out well..

Mom and dad put a down payment to reserve a new 2006 Toyota Prius which, in my opinion, is pretty sweet looking.  Travis and Jess think it’s a horrid looking car, but I think it’s cute and environmentally sweet since it’s a hybrid.  Mom’s been wanting to get a hybrid for quite some time, so she’s tickled.  She’s getting the metallic green color, so that does look pretty cute on the car.  I just hope that I didn’t cause Jess to lose her possible children ’cause, after I told her the news, she freaked out for several minutes.  Of course, if something does happen, she’ll point the finger at me and tell me that I owe them 3,000 for the failed IVF cycle.  *smirks*.  Vue Jess, VUE!

Today went well at the groomers for Zoie.  She got her nails trimmed, a bath, and a hair cut, she looks pretty hot.  I asked the lady that was taking my money if Zoie was any trouble and she said that she wasn’t any trouble that she was aware of.  So, that’s a good sign.  Was kind of worried that she would snap at someone…not that she’s mean or anything…just misunderstood and brilliant.  Yea…that’s what parents normally say when their kids are brats..misunderstood…

Today was Melissa’s actual birthday.  I knew that she was going to the movies with some of her family tonight, so I left her a short “happy birthday” voicemail on her cell.  And tomorrow is dad’s birthday, which I won’t be around for.  I asked Travis to pick something up and I’ll give him the money for my half.  Dad is just so impossible to buy for…the only thing that we can ever think of getting him is gift certificates *chuckles*.  Which, is terriably impersonal, but if it’s the only thing that you can work with…

I found this sweet website the other night, www.mbuzzy.com, where you can download free (mostly) wallpapers and ringtones for your cell phone.  I now have this kick ass penguin on my cell phone…he’s a blue animated penguin, so he’s super sweet.  I think he’s just adorable, I think I’ll call him Bob.
