La Twirl De Tasty
So, yea, everything's going good right now.
We got grandma and grandpa Sullivan moved into their new place this last Monday. Was actually a lot less work then what I thought it would be. Of course, Mike, Travis, and dad moved all of the big pieces. It was mom, Jess, and my duties to move in all of the smaller stuff. Which, is fair mind you. I actually went there for moral support but mom wouldn't hear of that *grins*. Like I thought I would get away with that....
Ohhh, and some good news! I'm losing weight like no body's business!! I'm not super sure as to how much weight I've lost, as I don't weigh myself. I go by pant sizes. Like, I used to wear a size 36. But now I can fit into a pair of jeans that I bought in Las Vegas (about 2 year ago) and bought the wrong size (size 34) and could never wear them. Except now! I can fit into them, they aren't tight around my legs at all, it's brilliant! And that was last week. This week I'm able to move up two holes in my belt from where I was at about a month and a half ago. So, I'm on my way to looking (more) fabulous than ever!!!!!
The money front is going pretty well. Mike started depositing his check into my account last week and I'm now paying all of the bills. I thought it would be difficult, as I've never had to manage that many bills coming in and out all of the time and also making sure that *I* have enough money for my stuff as well. But, it seems to be going along well, I haven't zeroed out my account yet *grins*.
I'm sitting here at work, bored off of my ass. Travis stayed home today 'cause he is taking a sick day. Well, he got a cold sore and his lip is 5 times larger then what it normally is. I totally get it...I got one about a month ago and it looked like one of those lips from a movie star after they just get a collagen injection. So, yea, I totally get that. And I'm sitting around here today with nothing to do. Just figures. When I'm here by myself it's either utter hell or I'm just left spinning around in my chair with nothing to do. Just hate both of those scenerios. And there's no one interesting to talk to on instant messenger either. *sighs*. BOOOOOORRRRREEEEDDDDD! I was even bored enough to start getting around the non-renewal listing from Donegal for DECEMBER!!!!! However, I can't really do anything with it until November at the earliest. I just hate sitting around and doing nothing. I'm so ADD, I swear to you.
Yesterday Melissa and I went to the Tasty Twirl (aka Diary Dump aka La Twirl de Tasty) for their last open day of the year. I was really wanting....neigh...NEEDING some of their deep fried cheese sticks. And, we get there and they were all out of them. Bah. So, I then asked them for a peanut butter shake, my FAV!. And, they were out of peanut butter. Bastards. So, I settled for a hot dog and a hot fudge shake (still yum, but I was left wanting...). We then went to Wal-Mart to pick up some essentials for her and to pick up some coffee and bird seed for Mike, as I forgot them on my last Wal-Mart excursion on Saturday. So, much fun was to be had yesterday.
Also last week Mike *FINIALLY* called the cable company to add on DVR service. And, he asked her how much extra it would cost. And, it actually *DROPPED* our cable bill from $120 to $98 a month. He asked her how that was possible and she said, and I quote, "Because I'm that good." Hottness. Also, double hot 'cause it could have been cheaper when I asked him to add it on 6 MONTHS AGO!. So, needless to say, our cable is cheaper and I love my DVR service! I can record two shows at once with no issues, which is nice. And I programmed in all of my fav shows so now I won't have to remember when they are on, which is really nice as I have no memory (thank you mother). Speaking of which, mom's Tivo was on the fritz for two days and she was almost freaking out, it was actually quite comical to watch her screw with it and...just the look on her face the whole time was truely priceless. I should have taken a picture...if I wasn't scared of her beating me out of frustration.
This Wednesday we'll all be going to Grandma and Grandpa Sullivan's house to help put up some of the pictures on their wall. Yes, it does take four people do to this!! It'll take Travis and Mike to hang the pictures and Jess and I to tell them wear to put it. Sad, I know, but that's just how these things work.
Ok, well, I have to get back to spinning in my chair, twirling around into Oblivion and Beyond.
